Commons 8 Hakuba Hotel
Article 1 (Arrival, Departure, and Room Usage)
1-1. Rooms are available for check-in from 3:00 PM.
1-2. Check-out time is 10:00 AM. All belongings must be removed from the room by the check-out time. Please note that late check-out is not available at this property.
1-3. Please register your departure time using the online form sent to you on the day before check-out.
1-4. In accordance with the Hotel Business Act, guests are required to register their contact details, including full address and phone number. Overseas guests (who do not reside in Japan) are required to pre-register their passports.
1-5. Self-service luggage lockers inside the hotel are available for luggage storage until 5:00 PM on the day of check-in/check-out.
Article 2 (Self-Check-in and Entry Procedure)
2-1. This property does not have a front desk. Guests must complete the online pre-check-in via the link provided in the email or SMS sent prior to arrival.
2-2. Your room number and door entry code will be provided by 2 days prior to your arrival date. On the day of check-in, please enter the door code on the electronic keypad lock at the hotel entrance to access and proceed directly to your room.
Article 3 (Housekeeping Services)
3-1. Trash collection and towel replacement will be provided on days requested by the guest (please hang the request sign on your outer door handle by 10:00 AM).
3-2. For stays of 4 nights or more, full room cleaning and bed linen changes will be provided once every 4 nights.
3-3. Cleaning frequency and details may vary for long stays or specific promotional booking plans.
Article 4 (Non-Smoking Policy & Pets)
4-1. The entire property—including guest rooms, balconies, hallways, and the entrance hall—is strictly non-smoking (including heated tobacco products and e-cigarettes). Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor smoking areas.
4-2. If any evidence of smoking is detected inside the room, a minimum special cleaning fee of 30,000 JPY will be charged. In addition, if the room cannot be sold due to necessary deodorization processing, or if additional expenses are incurred to accommodate subsequent guests, you will be held responsible for compensating any resulting financial losses.
4-3. If a guest is found smoking and continues to do so despite warnings, the guest and their party may be asked to vacate the premises immediately without any refund.
4-4. Pets are strictly prohibited under any circumstances. If pets are brought into the facility, an additional cleaning fee of 50,000 JPY (plus tax) will be charged.
Article 5 (Noise and Nuisance Control)
5-1. Parties and loud noise late at night are strictly prohibited. All guests must respect the privacy and comfort of other residents.
5-2. Use of the courtyard and deck area is restricted after 10:00 PM to prevent noise disturbances to neighbors.
5-3. If a guest violates these rules and complaints are received from neighbors, or if public services (police/fire department) are dispatched, the guest will be charged an appropriate nuisance fee based on the costs incurred and the inconvenience caused.
5-4. Guests agree to take full financial responsibility for any damages (including discomfort to other guests, inconvenience to neighbors, and damage to property) resulting from violations of these regulations.
Article 6 (Damage to Facilities/Equipment & Special Cleaning Fees)
6-1. If the hotel incurs costs for cleaning, repair, or lost room revenue due to guest misconduct or violation of these terms, the guest shall indemnify the hotel for all resulting damages, including:

Damage, staining, or theft of hotel equipment and furnishings.

Severe room staining beyond normal use due to food, drink, vomiting, blood, or bodily fluids (a minimum special cleaning fee of 50,000 JPY plus tax and any additional actual expenses will be charged).

Unauthorized smoking inside the building or premises.
6-2. Guests expressly consent to the hotel charging any damage claims to the credit card registered during booking or check-in.
6-3. In the event of damage or severe staining, please notify customer support prior to check-out.
Article 7 (Parking)
7-1. Parking spaces are provided for guest convenience; the hotel does not accept responsibility for vehicle custody or management. However, the hotel shall be held liable if damage occurs due to intentional misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the hotel.
Article 8 (Agreement to Accommodation Terms)
8-1. The signature obtained during the check-in procedure (including online confirmation during pre-check-in) shall be deemed as full consent and agreement to these Accommodation Terms & Conditions.
