A: Bed configurations depend on the room type, as detailed below:

• 1-Bedroom: 1 Double Bed (The in-room sofa can be converted into a bed upon request, free of charge.)
• 2-Bedroom: 2 Double Beds (Bed configuration cannot be changed.)
• 2-Bedroom Corner Suite: Can be changed from “Twin” to “Double” in both bedrooms upon advance request.

*Please note: If you wish to change the room type itself, you may need to cancel your current reservation and rebook.

We do not have child rates. Our pricing is based on a flat room rate (per room, not per person). Children are counted as regular guests towards the room’s maximum capacity, so please ensure your total party size stays within the room limit.

*Note: As long as the total number of guests remains within the room’s maximum capacity, there are no additional charges for bringing children.

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire building, including all guest rooms (and balconies), hallways, and the entrance hall. (This rule also applies to heated tobacco and e-cigarettes.)

If you wish to smoke, please use the designated outdoor smoking area.

If any evidence of smoking is detected inside the room, a minimum special cleaning fee of 30,000 JPY will be charged. In addition, if the room cannot be sold due to necessary deodorization processing, or if additional expenses are incurred to accommodate subsequent guests, you will also be held responsible for compensating any resulting financial losses.

Yes, we provide basic cooking utensils and tableware. Kitchen items include pots, pans, knives, and cutting boards, as well as enough plates, glasses, and cutlery (chopsticks, spoons, forks, etc.) for all guests.

Note: Please note that seasonings, spices, and cooking oils are not provided.

We are deeply sorry, but we do not provide nightwear (pajamas, robes, or yukata).
Please bring your own sleepwear for your stay.

Yes! You can use our complimentary “Self-Service Luggage Storage” located opposite the 1st-floor Drying Room until 5:00 PM on the day of your check-out.

Yes, we have comprehensive safety and security measures in place. Although Commons 8 Hakuba Hotel does not have a physical front desk, we implement the following measures to ensure a safe stay for all our guests:

• Security & Access Control: Only authorized individuals (such as registered guests and staff) are granted entry into the hotel, keeping non-authorized personnel out via our secure access system. Additionally, security cameras monitor the entrance and common areas, and automated alerts are linked directly to a professional security company in case of emergencies.
• Fire Safety: If a fire is detected, all electronic door locks will automatically unlock to ensure a safe and immediate evacuation.
